Turnkey Network Installation Services in San Antonio
We partner with IT directors, general contractors, and property managers to deploy scalable Layer 1 network infrastructure across commercial offices, warehouses, industrial facilities, and multi-dwelling units (MDU/MXU). Every network installation is designed around the switches, access points, and PoE loads it will carry, so the cable plant is never the bottleneck.
Cat6 & Cat6A Network Cabling Installation
Full-lifecycle voice and data drops: plenum-rated cable pulls, patch panel termination, faceplate trim-out, and cable tray or J-hook pathway routing. We install Cat6 structured cabling for standard office density and Cat6A where 10 Gbps, Wi-Fi 6/7 uplinks, or electrical noise call for it.
Server Room & MDF/IDF Buildouts
Two-post and four-post rack installation, wall-mount IDF cabinets, vertical and horizontal wire management, grounding and bonding, tone testing, and messy closet cleanup or takeovers. A clean MDF is where every later network support call gets easier.
Fluke Network Certification Testing
Comprehensive testing, troubleshooting, and documented certification reports for every copper and fiber run. Each drop is labeled at the panel, the faceplate, and in the closeout drop map.
Commercial Audio Visual Cabling
Conference room AV integration, commercial display mounting, HDMI and HDBaseT runs over Cat6A, and presentation system low voltage wiring coordinated with your AV integrator.
Fiber Optic Installation & Fusion Splicing
High-bandwidth backbones require precision handling. As an experienced San Antonio telecommunications contractor, we design, pull, and terminate single-mode (OS2) and multimode (OM3/OM4) fiber optic networks for campus, industrial, and multi-building environments.
Fiber Optic Fusion Splicing & Termination
Low-loss mechanical and fusion splicing, pigtail termination, and fiber enclosure or LIU tray dress-out, with every splice documented.
Fiber Risers, Campus Backbones & Underground Plant
Innerduct placement, riser and plenum backbone runs, multi-building campus backbones, industrial runs, aerial strand, and MDU/MXU fiber distribution.
OTDR Testing & Emergency Fiber Repair
Rapid fault isolation, dB loss verification, OTDR traces delivered with the closeout package, and emergency cut-fiber restoration.
How a Network Installation Project Runs in San Antonio
The same sequence applies to a 20-drop suite and a 400-drop warehouse. Knowing it up front is what keeps a network installation on schedule.
1. Site Walk & Scope
We walk the space or review your drawings, count drops by room, locate the MDF and any IDFs, and confirm pathways, ceiling type, and power at the rack.
2. Design, Drop Count & Submittals
You receive a drop schedule, cable category per area, rack elevation, and material submittals. PoE budgets and access point counts are checked against the switch plan so nothing is undersized.
3. Rough-In & Pathways
On new construction we rough in boxes, rings, and sleeves alongside the electrical contractor before drywall. In occupied space we route through existing ceilings and chases with firestopping at every penetration.
4. Termination, Testing & Labeling
Panels, faceplates, and fiber cassettes are terminated, Fluke tested, and machine-labeled. Failed links are reworked before we leave, not noted for later.
5. Closeout Documentation
Certification reports, labeled drop map, as-builts, and warranty terms are delivered as one package your IT team or MSP can hand to the next technician.
Why General Contractors & Property Managers Choose LVC
Reliable telecommunications systems start with clean physical infrastructure. Whether we are coordinating trades on new commercial construction or retrofitting an active distribution warehouse, our focus remains on neatness, labeling accuracy, and schedule adherence.
Turnkey Trade Coordination
Seamless execution alongside electrical contractors, IT MSPs, and general contractors from blueprint symbol review to final trim-out. We show up to OAC meetings and sequence our work to the GC schedule.
Clean, Labeled Terminations
Every patch panel, faceplate, and fiber cassette is machine-labeled and bundled for effortless future administration.
Scalable Project Scope
Equipped for single-suite tenant improvements, large industrial complexes, and multi-family residential developments. Industrial sites get access point mounts, PoE camera drops, and outdoor-rated runs engineered for the environment.
Small Jobs, Adds, Moves & Changes
Not every network installation is a build-out. We handle a handful of new drops, ethernet cable installation for a single office, rack cleanups, and tenant improvement adds, moves, and changes with the same testing and labeling standard. For homeowners, see residential fiber jack relocation and modem and router relocation. Request a project estimate for any size job.
Network Installation FAQ for San Antonio Businesses
What is included in a network installation quote from LVC?
A scoped estimate that lists the cable plant by category (Cat6, Cat6A, or fiber), drop counts by location, pathway and support hardware, racks, patch panels and enclosures, termination, Fluke certification testing, labeling, and closeout documentation. Design and installation can be quoted together or separately.
Should a new San Antonio office be wired with Cat6 or Cat6A?
Cat6 handles 1 Gbps to 100 meters and 10 Gbps on shorter runs. Cat6A delivers 10 Gbps at a full 100 meters with better noise rejection, which matters for Wi-Fi 6 and Wi-Fi 7 access point uplinks, high-density offices, and anything near motors or transformers. We spec it per space rather than site-wide, so you pay for Cat6A only where it earns its keep.
Do you provide Fluke certification reports for every run?
Yes. Every copper and fiber link is tested, and you receive the certification report with the summary and the raw data, along with a labeled drop map and as-builts. Reports are delivered with the closeout package, not on request.
Can you install network drops in an occupied office or an operating warehouse?
Yes. We schedule pulls and terminations around your operations, work after hours when needed, and stage phased cutovers so existing connections stay live until the new drops are tested.
Do you work as a subcontractor for general contractors and electrical contractors?
Yes. We bid from plans, attend OAC meetings, coordinate sleeves and penetrations with the electrical contractor, and sequence rough-in and trim-out with the GC schedule. A COI and our TX DPS license are available with the bid.
Do you handle demarc extensions and carrier handoffs?
Yes. We extend the carrier demarc from the MPOE to your suite or server room, terminate it in your rack, and coordinate the handoff with the ISP technician so the circuit is live when your switches arrive.
